Larson Reunion

We had our Larson Reunion this weekend. The Larsons are my moms family there are 13 kids in her family, 85 grandkids, and over 100 great grandkids. They have quite the posterity. I love all my family. This hear it was so cold and rainy. We were the second ones there so we got a cabin and great parking. Thank goodness. When we were driving to Young there was snow on the ground that is crazy for May. The camp was a muddy mess. Cars were getting stuck as they drove in. All the cars were by the entrance because the mud was too deep to drive into the camp. Even the 4 wheel drive trucks were struggling. Some people came up on Friday and the majority of our relatives were coming on Sat. They ended up calling them and telling them not to bother because almost everyone left on Sat. afternoon because of the rain and mud. We have been having our reunion Memorial weekend for as long as I can remember and never has it been this cold and rainy. It was still fun to hang out with my cousins, aunts, uncles and my Nammie. I was sad everyone did not make it. Hailey and my cousin Becca ( I have so many cousins old and young)
The ladies
Kiley wanted to keep the body of the pinata for all of her candy.
The auction MCed by Uncle Buck of course he was hilarious
My uncle Mark trying to Annie to Forkem Devils
Annie stuffing donuts in her mouth. She was a mess.

The muddy mess notice the wood plank we had to cross cuz the mud was too deep.
The favorite swing

Kiley is moving on to 1st grade

Kiley has finished kindergarten. She had a great year her teacher is the best kindergarten teacher she is so sweet to all the kids. Kiley was lucky to be in the same class as her cousin Grayson. Annie had to jump in the picture, she loves her cousin Gray.
Her teacher said she has not cried in years but she did this year. She loved her class and it showed.

Stella and Annie

Annie and Stella thought that is would be fun to play in tiny bit of water in the bottom of the tether ball stand. I had to make Stella but her panties back on so that I could take some pictures with out going to jail. By the end they were both buck naked I am sorry I had to video them, Erin and I were cracking up.

Carter's Blessing

On Mother's Day Curtis blessed Carter in our ward. It was great to get a family photo with everyone it has been a long time. This is the whole Skousen gang. Our ward could not get over how much Curtis and Jack looked alike. It was funny because some people got offended because they thought that the bishop was walking by them and not saying hi. Curtis, next time could you just talk to everyone like you were Jack.
Tasha, Curtis and Carter
The ten grandkids.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was so much fun thanks to my sweet husband and girls. It started out with me walking down the stairs and them blasting me with silly string. They thought that was the greatest thing ever. They surprized me with posters, balloons and an 11 layer cake (for the 11 years I have been a mom). FYI the ice cream hearts also counted for layers. For those of you that do not know Jack makes the girls layered cakes for their birthdays until they are 8. They made me feel so special. They did all this while I was gone for a few hours on the Sat. before Mothers Day.

Dinner with SKOUSEN'S

Jacks little brother and his cute family came to visit from NY. Tasha and Curtis had their first baby, Carter, in January. We were so excited to get to meet him. He is so cute and pretty dang big for his age. He is almost 4 months and weighs 18lbs. It was fun to get to hang out with them. We sure do miss them. Curt is the only Skousen out of 6 that lives out of AZ. He works for BMW and is trying to get back here. We are praying he does. Jackson, Curtis, and Carter. Peter could not come to dinner he had to work so we missed him.

All the Skousens minus Peter who we missed that night. We went out with all the adults which is always so much fun. We love kids but lets get real it is hard to really visit when they are here.

OUR MEMA

We Love Mema!!!!!

Sweet Mom

Happy Mothers Day to my sweet adorable mom. Words can not explain the love I have for my dear mom. She is absolutly the BEST mother ever. I am trying each day to be a mom like her. She was always there for us when we came home from school I have so many memories of her standing in the kitchen saying"Hi Sis how was your day?" She was at all of our activities and tried to always put us before anything besides church that is. It is hard to not have her here today to spoil on this special day. I am so glad that I can say that my mom is one of my best friends, I know I can call and tell her anything and she will love me to the end. I love you mom and hope dad spoils you to pieces you deserve it. Thanks for always being there for me. I wish I could give you a great big hug and kiss. XOXO

Love, Amy

Mommy Makeover

Today was Mommy Makeover for Kiley's kindergarten class. They pampered us with treats, massages, stories ,you name it, and of course a gorgeous make-over. It was so dang cute. Kiley was excited for days. I have to enjoy these types of things because our kids grow up too fast.
This the final product. I look ADORABLE. I was the only lucky ducky with stunning red lips. Ignore the droopy eye I do not know what was up with that. It looked the same in all the pictures maybe it was the make-up.

Women's Conference (WoCon) '08

I had the privilege of attending Women's Conference this past weekend. It was a lot of fun. The good thing about the conference is that you have the opportunity of strengthening your testimony while having a blast with your friends. We had a lot of late nights playing Loaded Questions, talking, laughing and messing with our friends in another room. Good Times!!! First night in Prove freezing our buns off. Jules was really cold in her shorts. Us AZ girls are not use to it snowing in May. Our crew consisted of the 4 Worthen girls, Mishy the Mom, Jules, and me.
Jules and Syd soaking up the speaker. The best was Linds was also asleep next to Syd but woke up when we were getting the camera.
Dinner with the huge crew. Alli , Sheri and Sheri's 2 friends joined us for dinner.
The concert. It was pretty funny. Do not worry we took this photo like 5 times because everyone kept moving before the flash went off.
Us 4 ladies trekking it across campus to the Smith Field House. Michelle loved the snow capped mountains, funny thing is that you can not see them in the picture because of the glare.

MHS Class of '92
On top of the Conference Center in SLC
I stopped by my brother Dustins work on Sat. to give him a hug before we took off. I wished I could have seen his family also.
The last day after we had the privilege of having our dear Prophet speak to us. That was such a treat because we did not know he was the closing speaking until we got there. It was so neat when he walked into the Marriott Center the spirit was so strong testifying to everyone that he is a man called of God to be our prophet at this time. It was amazing.
