Lunch with Nammie

Nammie and some of the great grand kids.
Nammie with some of her grand kids. I say some because she has like 80 something.
We love Nammie!! She is the best grandma ever she never misses any event. I have so many fun memories with her. She is always praying for everyone, calling everyone for their b-days and anniversaries, driving all over to attend every special event for everyone and gives love to so many. It was fun to be able to go to lunch with her.

Annie at the Movies

We thought we would try to take Annie to the movies now that she is older. We have been waiting for the day when we could all go to the movies together. Well, she was excited to sit on the booster chair and eat popcorn but it did not last. Lets just say she is not a good movie watcher. Maybe in a few months. We still had fun watching Bedtime Stories.

Suns vs. Clippers

Michelle and Wade took us to the Suns game. It was so much fun they had floor seats, I had never sat that close before. I actually paid attention to the game it was great.!!

Fun on the Rock Wall

Over the Christmas break we went rock climbing with the Opfels. They were all really good and could make it to the top. By the end there arms were so tired, Hailey could not grab anything that night her forearms hurt too much.

New Years

The girls. Erin was trying to do the splits it was not working.

On New Year's Eve my 3 older girls had party's with their friends so Jack, Annie and I went over to the Carter's and hung out with some friends. I was great because Annie went to bed at 9 and we were able to just hang out, play games and laugh.

The Sick Girls

A few days after Christmas the flu hit our house. It was crazy we were all throwing up except for Annie and Jack. Thank goodness Jack was home to take care of all his sick girls.

Christmas Day with Guitar Hero World Tour

Uncle Peter spoiled all of his nieces and nephews this year. He bought all of them really great presents. He gave us Guitar Hero World Tour. We have had so many hours of fun with that game. Here are some pictures of everyone playing it on Christmas.
Annie thought she was the only one who could sing.

Nanny on the microphone, Caree on guitar, Amanda on drums, and Papa on guitar
The little rockers. Who can play this thing for hours. Thank you Peter we love and miss you!!!!

Christmas

Treats for Santa and his Reindeer
Annie with her new baby doll set. Once she saw this she was not that crazy about opening anything else. She thinks she is extra cheesy if she closes her eyes, she kept closing them for the pictures.
Hailey finally got her orange nano.
Kiley is with her LPS. She is so cute.
Maicy got a hat and scarf knitting loom, she has made many things with them. For some crazy reason I do not have picture of her with them. Here she is with her American Doll book set.
Rollerblades from Mema and Papa which they love so much.
Awhile back Jack had told the girls he wanted some Heely's you better believe they bought him some for Christmas. They could not wait for him to open them. He is dang good on them I would kill myself. They love when he wears them to the park with them.

Nanny made all the kids a scarf and hat, they loved them.
Carter gave Annie her first dress-up dress, crown and shoes, as you can see she loved them. She wore this thing all day and even slept in it for her nap. I love how her crown in always upside down. Thank you Carter!!

Ruby's on the Newport Pier

One night while we were in CA we went to eat at Ruby's on the Pier and went to Balboa Island to look at all the cute houses decorated for Christmas. It was pretty cold the whole time we were in California but it was especially cold on the pier because of the wind. Annie sitting so nicely at dinner like she always does.
The kid table.
All of us freezing cold. Ashly is missing because she is taking the picture.

Gingerbread Houses

This year we did our gingerbread house at the Flakes. We are cheaters and use graham crackers and hot glue guns. The girls love to get creative and create fun houses. You can more with hot glue than you can with frosting. Creating their master pieces.
Annie ate frosting and candy the whole time. As you can see there is not much candy on her house.
Kiley and Porter getting started.
More creations.

Finished products.
