Ragnar Relay
The Ragnar Relay is a 182 mile relay of crazyness. We started in Wickenburg and ended in Mesa. We had 12 people on our team and we each ran 3 times. It was exhausting and fun.
This was our first exchange. Our poor #1 runners had to be thrown out of the van at the start because we were 8 min. late. We had trouble getting our vans. They did so good.
This is Karen ( my new friend, who I met on Friday) and Lindsay. We were so hot after our 1st run.
Lindsay passing the bracelet to Nichole.
Jill our team captain.
Lois my partner. I also met her that morning. We had 2 teams so that we could all have a partner. It made it fun to run with someone.
These our the 5 girls that were in my van. Jill, Kim, me ,Karen ,Nichole, Lindsay. The only one I new before was Lindsay. It was great to meet so many neat people. I feel like I've totally known them forever.
These are my good friends Kathleen and Sarah they were on another team. They did great.
This is Lois and I looking good for our night time run.

Congrats Amy- you guys are the craziest gals to do such a thing- never in a million years for me, but maybe someday a triathalon, keep your fingers crossed for that one!
You are amazing--I want to throw up just thinking about running 6 miles uphill. I've always told Dad you were like a mountain goat--hills don't even phase you---well maybe they make you say words a bishop's wife shouldn't say. I'm so glad you are done and that you are safe. I was worried about that night run. Good job sweetcheeks! ILYT oxoxox
So glad we did it together!
You are the best!
Love ya!
Looks like fun. I would have to say I'm jealous. I wish I could do it with you. Not that I'm in best of shape, but I would love to get there.
Great meeting and running with you Amy! Let me know when you are ready to do the Moorea Marathon in Tahiti!!
Amy: I knew you were a fabulous runner, but this run sounds so hard! You and Holly have my utmost admiration. I try running up and down my stairs and I get winded. Hmmmm, what does that tell you?
Maybe next year I can get you to come to Cali and run the Providian relay with me. The scenery is a little different as the run goes from Napa to Santa Cruz, one leg goes across the Golden Gate Bridge, no less ;) You guys are a LOT more tan, though! I LOVE your blog and am so excited to keep in touch better!
Aimster--you and Linds and friends are unbelievable. I am starting to think they switched Lindsay at the hospital with some lady athletes baby. Glad you all have stayed close. Was good to see you at Linds Birthday lunch. Your girls are adorable! Been getting into this blogging thing and am keeping Hils blog going with her mission info. It's fun!
