The River

A couple of weeks ago Jack took the youth to the river. The night before they went they built these rafts which consisted of 2 inner tubes, rope and wood. Well, needless to say they had a blast. Jack thought some of the young women were a bit scared to go on the river, so he thought he needed to teach our girls the ins and outs of the river. I really wanted to go but had to stay with little Annie girl, i have to say I was a bit jealous. I have not been to the river since my high school days, going on the 1/2 days. Some may think that the river is white trash but not these dudes. They were sad that they did not have a boom box and a styrofoam ice chest to strap to the rafts. Good Times!!!

Mom take note of the life vest, nothing to worry about.

That looks like so much fun. I'm jealous too. Now that I have proof that my kiddies each had a life vest on while they were floating down the river I can go to bed and sleep. Thanks for the pictures. I miss you guys so much and ILYT oxoxoxo

Hey Amy, Haven't talked to you guys in a long time. The river trip looks like fun, I love Burks expression and that he is surrounded by all girls!! We went down the Boise River in Idaho, the kids loved it! Lets get together soon! I'll call you later.

You are still as cute as you were when you were 5 years old. While I was blog stalking I came across you. Actually, I first came across your parents and the lovely picture of Dustin as an Ultimate Fighter. That's going to take awhile to sink in.... anyway, couldn't resist the chance to say Hi. It is been along time since you were my over the fence neighbor in Mesa. I can't believe you have kids older than mine. :) Looks like life is treating you well. I will keep checking in on you. Tell your parents I said Hi.
