Bishop Skousen Got Released
Today was such an emotional day, Jack was released as Bishop. We did not think it was going to be so sad. I have to say having him serve as Bishop was such blessing to both of us as well as our girls. The Lord has truly blessed our family. He was such a great Bishop it was a amazing to watch him love and serve the ward and especially see how he worked with the youth. I will always cherish those years he served as Bishop.

My grandma called yesterday to tell me about his release. He was an awesome bishop, he did a lot of good. I was so sad! I also heard you guys snuck off and moved away! =[ Miss you guys lots!
What a great Bishop Jackson was. He will be missed but can feel good about his service to the Lord. The ward will continue to love him and the whole Skousen family. And the Lord will continue to bless you all for Jackson's and your selfless service. ILYT oxoxo
Ya I heard that President Danielson announced at the end of sacrament meeting that you had moved and said that for the closing hymn the congregation would sing "God be With You Til We Meet Again" then I heard that everyone broke out crying!!! Must of been pretty tough for all of you- leaving your ward family, but there will always be home for you in 12th ward, they all love you guys so much!!!
okay, so I'm still in shock! (about the move.) I knew Bishop would be released soon, but you sneaking away! We always joked around and said when the skousen's moved we're gone too. so I guess we better start looking. We will miss you guys so much! What a great Bishop we had and what an awesome family to know! You will all be missed! Oh and Caden is pointing at your picture now, and saying, "Annie, Annie". He just loves her!
We are so proud of you guys and love you so much. Throughout the time Jack was Bishop he unknowingly made such an imapct on our lives. He married Curtis and I, baptized me and set a terrific example, and we lived out of state! I can only imagine the impact you had on the members in your ward. We love, appreciate and miss you guys!
Good Luck to you guys!! I guess now you have no ties to us "west siders". Keep in touch.
Skousen! I found you...thru Winter! This is Heather Black, formally Heather Ross. I can't believe that Maciy is 8 and that you have another baby. Not surprised that #4 is a girl though. Adding you to my blog!
There is no other couple like you and Jack. Of course everyone loves you guys and your sweet girls! Best wishes in whatever comes next in your lives... A's dad went straight from Bishop to Mission President when he was Jack's age ;)

I can still remember being at your ward when he got put in as Bishop!I was pregnant with Carter. Those years went by so fast..Enjoy having Jack home at nights, I don't know how you did it all alone!! You guys are awesome!
I have to admit I would be more upset if I still lived in AZ - but as it goes we miss your family no matter where you are living! Hope you are doing great - the girls look adorable, as they always do!
Okay, I know Im late in posting on this one but just got your blog added today. Jackson was a great Bishop. He helped me through a really tough time and I havent had a better Bishop yet. Even though I havent been in the ward for a while, I still felt a bit of sadness when I heard that he had been released..... Its probably nice for you a bit though having him back in your life..ha ha;)
