KK is Gone

Krisit left on Monday for TX we will miss her. We are glad we got to go to Joe's with her before she left. The girls had so much fun running around with her.

The Joys of the Desert

So last night I was walking out the garage and spotted this huge scorpion, I yelled for Jack and and he came to my rescue. This is the first one I have seen out here, he was totally trying to come into the garage. Nice try!!! This is what you get when you live in the AZ Desert.
Jack had to pin the sucker down and measure him.

Annie Tormenting Paxton

Paxton was trying to put on Annie's shoes and she would not let him. She grabbed them and took off. It was hilarious they ended up having a blast chasing each other.

Nanny Had a Birthday

We went to Joes BBQ for Maree's (Nanny) birthday yesterday. She is such a wonderful Nanny, Mother and Mother-in-law-. We love you and hope you had a wonderful birthday. All of us with the birthday girl.

Bishop Skousen Got Released

Today was such an emotional day, Jack was released as Bishop. We did not think it was going to be so sad. I have to say having him serve as Bishop was such blessing to both of us as well as our girls. The Lord has truly blessed our family. He was such a great Bishop it was a amazing to watch him love and serve the ward and especially see how he worked with the youth. I will always cherish those years he served as Bishop.

Annie is 2

I can not believe that our baby is now 2 years old. Time sure does fly. What a blessing this little girl has been to our family, she is so loved by all of us. She is so dang spoiled, that is what happens when you have a 5 year gap. The older girls give her anything she wants. Annie loves all of the attention and has a way of making us laugh. She loves to put on shows when we are on our knees for prayer and it is hard to get everyone to settle down. She loves purses, babies, jewelry, phones,shoes, and of course Elmo (that is the only thing I can get her to watch). We are so glad this seriously feisty (has been since the hospital) girl was born into our family. Watching her new Elmo movie and playing with her new tea set.
This was after the party I had to laugh at the shoes, she insisted on wearing them to bed. They are on the wrong feet.

She could not figure out how to blow out the candle. I think she was afraid of it because it was HOT.
She got 2 cupcakes instead of a 2 layer cake because she is Mema's little cupcake.
